　　去年，有臺灣游客拿著他們省自產(chǎn)的“護照”，想去參觀聯(lián)合國。

　　A Taiwanese tourist visiting the United Nations Office at Geneva was refused entry by security officers who rejected both her passport and national ID card and told her to return with a valid Chinese passport.

　　一名臺灣游客去參觀聯(lián)合國的日內(nèi)瓦辦事處，被安保人員禁止進入。 后者拒絕了她的“護照”和“身份證”，要她回去帶著有效的中國護照再來。

　　“The member state that is recognized by the international community is the People’s Republic of China, Taiwan being a province of that state. We recognize PRC, so the passport of Taiwan is not recognized by the UN… We have to be respectful of our member states,” said UN spokesperson at the Geneva office Rhéal LeBlanc.

　　日內(nèi)瓦辦事處的聯(lián)合國發(fā)言人Rhéal LeBlanc表示，“國際社會所承認的聯(lián)合國成員國為中華人民共和國。我們認可中華人民共和國，所以聯(lián)合國不承認臺灣 ……我們必須尊重我們的成員國。”
